The Mini Cooper Forum was set up in 2016 with a view to providing a discussion and information platform for classic Mini Cooper and BMW MINI Cooper enthusiasts around the world. However discussion on anything to do with the Mini/MINI has always been welcomed.
As the forum banner says it is an independent forum with no affiliation to any car club or business. In terms of operation the forum has worked well with very few problems. However it’s fair to say that the forum has not been a success. Quite why remains something of a mystery. With this background in mind we hereby give notice that a final decision as to whether the Mini Cooper Forum continues to run or is taken down will be made on or just after 30th November 2019.
If you have ideas of how the forum might be improved to attract more discussion please feel free to either post on the forum or email email@example.com

Peter hasnt retired at all ! He is now working at John Deegans garage 9Regency Autos) in Cambridge and at Jon Lee's in Wellingborough in Northants on a part time basis . The rolling road in Cambridge is actually run by Lee Deegan (son of John) and Peter is "teaching" Lee the ropes. Its a state-of-the-art rolling road, so with Peter there, it will be good. I will book my Mini with him before the Mini to the Alps. If anyone wants the number, look at this link : https://www.regency-autos.co.uk/

The rolling road that Peter is at (only on Mondays and Tuesdays) is awsome. Its a state-of-the-art Rolling road. He can overlay graphs every time he changes something and runs it up. No need to remember what the settings and results were. Its incredibly clean and well worth every penny. On the Minis to the Alps everything went wrong on the car, Fuel pump, clutch an brakes, (oh I forgot the exhaust nearly fell off), the only thing that worked was the engine and it gave me 34 MPG for the trip.
